Youth Balloon Camp
Youth Balloon Camp – FREE to participate and is open to children ages 5-14. The camp will be held August 7, 8, or 9th, from 9:30 to 11:30 am, choose one day to participate. This is what you will learn, the science behind hot air ballooning. You will experience hands-on learning. Certified balloon pilots will teach the camp which will include learning the hot air balloon parts, putting the balloon together and participating in the inflation. If the weather permits, we will tether the balloon for participants. Each child will receive a camp t-shirt.
Please note: this event has a capacity of 50 youths per day and is on a first-come-first-served basis. The location is Mitchell Airfield, on Mitchell South Road and all participants will receive a conformation email prior to the event.
